Grammar doesn’t have to be painful. In my experience, students who take to grammar understand the rules up front and can eventually break them with intention. If you’re new to fine tuning your grammar, my best advice is to take your time as you learn each rule. Bite off bite-size chunks before trying to become a grammarian on day one.
I often like to click into Harvard College Writing Center’s blog The Barker Underground. It’s created by the center’s tutors and always includes a quick tip you can use on the run.

Check out The Barker Underground here.

Purdue Owl has become the mainstay in grammar resources, especially for middle and high school students. Their resources are vast, so if you’re going to save, pin, link to one site from this page, make it Purdue’s Owl Writing Center. They even have an exercise section where you can test your knowledge.
International Students
If you’re studying a UK-based curriculum, you’ll find the following resources and categories quite helpful. Remember that when it comes to grammar practice in the UK, teachers are referring to SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar).

BBC Bitesize is an excellent resource I use every day with my international clients. Click this link and dive into your specific key stage and subject.

Twinkl has easy-to-use printables for every subject. I really love using this source for SPaG handouts.
